Secular Organizations for Sobriety
The Center for Inquiry-West houses the international headquarters of Secular Organizations for Sobriety (SOS — also known as Save Our Selves). SOS provides a successful and increasingly popular non-religious alternative to “Twelve Step” recovery programs. In November, 1999, SOS launched a series of special events at the Center for Inquiry-West. All SOS events are open to the general public and of course are clean and sober. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

There are approximately two billion children (persons under 18) in the world. However, since Santa does not visit children of Muslim, Hindu, Jewish or Buddhist (except maybe in Japan) religions, this reduces the workload for Christmas night to 15% of the total, or 378 million (according to the population reference bureau). Santa has about 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming east to west (which seems logical). This works out to 967.7 visits per second at an average (census) rate of 3.5 children per household, which comes to 108 million homes, presuming there is at least 1 good child in each. This is to say that for each Christian household with a good child, Santa has around 1/1000th of a second to park the sleigh, hop out, jump down the chimney, fill the stocking, distribute the remaining presents under the tree, (more…)

This a great video to display how too much of a good thing might be even worse because it runs unchecked and is not questioned by proper authorities.
Skepticizm rules!!! However I would not particularly trust CATO oppinions either. They are libritarians and that is unchecked power galore. There must be a way to clean the irrelevant crap out of the green movement and really establish a good plan on world’s environment. So that we all could handle it and at the same time something would get done.
